• Tardy Policy

We will continue to implement the tardy round-up strategy to help students avoid being tardy to their classes. It is important that students show up on time to class so that teachers can effectively utilize their instructional time with minimal interruptions.

    What will happen:

    1. Once the tardy bell rings, doors will be closed and students that remain in the hall will be directed to the pyramid.
    2. Staff members will log the students' tardies into the Tardy Log.
    3. Teachers on duty will write the student a tardy pass to return to class.
    4. Students receiving consequences (listed below) will be told at that time. If ISS placement is necessary, the student's parent will be contacted.
    5. All tardy students coming to class from Round-Up will have a Tardy Pass. If they do not, they will be sent to the pyramid or front office to obtain one.
    6. Tardies will be tracked quarterly, starting fresh at the beginning of each quarter.
