  Amanda Banda, Graphic Arts Teacher

Mrs. Amanda Banda comes to Harlingen High School South from Harlingen CISD's KHGN/Communications Department. A product of HCISD, Mrs. Banda has worked with Harlingen CISD at KHGN since August of 2004.

Interests, skills and hobbies include: Graphic Design & Manipulation, Photo Restoration, Photography, Writing, Social Media Management, SEO, Video Production, Video Editing, Conducting Research, Team Building and Brainstorming.

Philosophy: It's important to keep our digital natives (students) engaged with how they learn best, using technology, social media and PBL strategies.

Education: Student with Ashford University's Online Communications Program.  

Mrs. Banda is married to George Banda and together they have three beautiful babies, Davin, Leandra and Brennan.
