National Library Week - April 8-14

Bonham Elementary enjoyed author, storyteller, and folksinger, Rickey E. Pittman in celebration of National Library Week. Mr. Pittman entertained students with his tales and music about the South. Teachers and students gained interesting information often left out of history books. Mr. Pittman also shared stories about the Alamo and Texas history. Students donned Civil War uniforms and learned about many of the items soldiers carried with them throughout the war.
