This year students from Bowie Elementary attending ACE Summer Camp focused on Teamwork. Students worked on a beautification project of the Bowie Elementary patio and on some K-nex projects while learning about the history of the wheel and transportation through the ages. The patio project is a work in progress, but is already receiving a lot of positive feedback. As a culminating activity parents were invited to come on campus and watch our first ACE Desert Derby, where students raced the vehicles they built. While working on these various projects, students learned the dynamics of building a successful team and all proudly displayed their work.
