The Ben Milam Elementary Mustangs made a splash on a big stage, finishing no. 5 in the National Scholastic Chess Tournament this past weekend in Nashville, Tenn.

The Mustangs competed against 49 other teams from across the country in the K6U1000 Division.  

 

This was the fourth year the Mustangs competed at the National tournament.
