Realizing Our Dream 2.1 Scorecard
Our redesigned Realizing Our Dream 2.1 provides our district with concise, focused data and presents a framework that supports college and career readiness for all students. This report provides meaningful educational accountability data sets at the district level and displays analytic measures as early as Pre-K to 12th grade while incorporating local and state data. The five outcomes measured will include Early Childhood, Academic Readiness (STAAR), Attendance, College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), and Graduation/Completion Rate.
English language learners in addition to our special education students are spotlighted on our scorecard to bring focus to excellence through equity. By taking this inclusive approach in bringing our special population metrics to the forefront, we commit to ensure that every student has what they need to close the achievement gap. Our five year goals for our special population students are grounded on the accountability system’s domain three closing the gaps. In this domain, federal targets for each special population were established and are measured by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan. Consequently, each of the special populations groups have varying federal targets based on historical academic data for that particular subgroup.
District leadership teams are also being designed to support the campuses in these five outcomes. In creating interim goals for campuses and a long-term goals for the district, we aspire to position all of our campuses, and in turn the district, on a course to success as measured in the HB 22 A-F accountability framework.
