Our Guidance & Counseling Program is a confidential support program that provides a way for students to deal with problems that affect learning.  In order for counseling to be effective, Confidentiality is a crucial factor.

CONFIDENTIALITY means that whatever is said either in a group or individual discussion cannot be repeated to anyone, which includes parents, teachers, administrators, etc.

However, there will be exceptions in regards to keeping CONFIDENTIALITY. The EXCEPTIONS which require a person to BREAK CONFIDENTIALITY are:

• Harm to self or others

• Physical/Sexual abuse
