KHGN radio was created three years ago as our district radio station. Students have a chance to create their own radio shows, podcasts, commercials, etc.! It is run by all students in Ms. Garcia's Radio & Speech class at Memorial Middle School along with students at the Media Arts & Communication Academy.

Students work on a variety of fun activities to assist them with their public speaking skills, writing, reading, research, and communication. Useful not only in school BUT in the real world.

But that's not all! Students have the capability to sharpen all those skills through KHGN RADIO our districts student run radio station. Which allows them the ability to create:

• Podcasts

• Holiday Programming

• News Coverage

• Sports Coverage

• Educational Podcasts

• PSAs

• Plus play music from the 70's to today!
