Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District shall provide Aquatic Programs that will enrich the lives of its students, faculty, staff and community members.
Our Vision
It is our goal to construct a renowned aquatic program in our state and nation by surrounding our students and parents with unmatched support from conscientiously kind coaches and administration.

Yvonne Moran has been a part of the HCISD family for 9 years. Yvonne assists the HCISD Aquatic Center team with over 25 years of aquatic experience as a competitive swimmer, swim coach, diving coach lifeguard instructor and swim instructor. She served as the Aquatic Facility Specialist for the past nine years. Prior to joining the HCISD family, she served as the Lead Swim Instructor for Brownsville ISD’s Margaret M. Clark Aquatic Center for 13 years. She was an assistant swim coach for Blue Dolphins in Brownsville for 4 years. She was also the diving coach for Saint Joseph Academy for 2 years.
She holds the following aquatic certifications: Lifeguard Instructor, Water Safety Instructor, First Aid Instructor, CPR/AED Instructor, NSPF Certified Pool & Spa Operator, ASCA Coach Level 2, AAPAR Adapted Aquatics Instructor and a SwimAmerica Learn-To-Swim Coach. Yvonne earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Texas at Brownsville. She is married to John Paul Moran and they have 5 sons, Sean, John, Joseph, Cyrid and Ian.
