This past weekend, we were at Market Days, and we had STEM2 Preparatory Academy join us.

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking loss of one of our beloved 6th grade students, Lillian Rose Lira. Lillian was a bright light in our school community—a kind, joyful, and talented member of our orchestra whose beautiful spirit touched everyone who knew her. Lillian passed away on April 6th, 2025. Her absence leaves an unimaginable void in our hearts, but her legacy of love and compassion will continue to shine. In an extraordinary act of generosity and love, Lillian’s parents chose to honor her memory by helping her become an organ donor—giving the gift of life to others. We will dearly miss Lillian’s sweet smile, her music, and her gentle heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this incredibly difficult time.
