Harlingen CISD is proud to announce that for the fourth consecutive year, the Texas Education Agency has officially validated the district’s data submission for the 2024–2025 Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA).
This continued validation represents a rigorous third-party review of the district’s teacher evaluation and designation system. The state’s approval confirms that HCISD’s processes for identifying highly effective educators, based on student growth data and professional performance standards, are accurate, reliable, and equitable.
The Teacher Incentive Allotment provides significant financial recognition to teachers who demonstrate a measurable impact in the classroom. Through this program, educators can earn substantial additional compensation while remaining in their teaching roles, reinforcing the district’s commitment to retaining top talent.
