
Harlingen CISD is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of its student chess competitors following the Regional Chess Tournament. A total of 16 HCISD students qualified individually, and one middle school team earned the Regional Championship, advancing to the Super State Chess Competition in Austin.
Students qualified for Super State by placing among the top 30 competitors in their division at the regional level.
