The mission of the HCISD Curriculum and Instruction Department is to provide a dynamic and rigorous curriculum aligned to state and national standards coupled with research‐based best practices and high-quality professional development leading to the growth and success of all students.  The work of the department supports a focus on instructional planning and data analysis through high-quality professional development.

Our Vision is to foster rigorous, relevant, and purposeful learning experiences that empower each student to reach his or her academic, extracurricular and social potential.
