  • For over 50 years, the Reflections program has empowered millions of students to explore their creativity through dance, film, literature, music, photography, and visual arts. Founded in 1969 by Colorado PTA President Mary Lou Anderson, Reflections encourages self-expression and celebrates students of all ages and abilities.

With a focus on positive recognition rather than competition, Reflections helps students discover their unique voices and share their personal stories. Today, more than 200,000 students participate in this nationwide program each year—thanks to the dedication of Local PTAs across the country.
